Hot Water Banana Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 large or 3 small bananas
1/2 c. sour milk (1 Tbsp. vinegar to 1/2 c. milk)
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cocoa
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift together last 4 ingredients.
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and mashed bananas.
Add sour milk alternately with flour mixture.
Last, add 1 cup boiling water.
Batter will be very thin. Bake at 300\u00b0 about 50 minutes.
Yields 3 layers, one 9 x 13-inch or a 12 cup Bundt cake.
