Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie crust
3 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
2 c. Pet milk (undiluted)
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

In saucepan, stir together dry ingredients; gradually add the milk.
I use one large can of milk and if not quite enough for 2 cups, add water to make 2 cups.
Place on low heat, stirring constantly, to make a smooth mixture.
Break egg yolks into a cup and beat until blended.
Add a little of warm mixture to egg yolks and then stir into mixture in pan.
Cook and continue to stir until thick.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Stir to blend. Pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue.
