Surprise Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix cake according to package directions.
Fill paper bake cups in muffin pans 2/3 full.
Cream cream cheese with sugar; beat in egg and salt.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful cheese mixture into each cupcake.
Bake as package directs.
