Hamburger Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
    5 potatoes, diced
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 onion, diced
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Brown hamburger.
    Drain fat from hamburger.
    Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots and diced onion to the hamburger.
    Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder (not garlic salt).
    Add water to just cover veggies.
    Cover and simmer until veggies are tender and broth has thickened.
    Serve with salad and hot rolls.
