Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. crushed saltine crackers
1/2 stick butter
3 c. sliced onions
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
2 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Mix the crackers and butter together and put in 10-inch pie plate.
Put onions in skillet.
Cover with water and simmer 15 minutes until transparent.
Drain well.
Put into crust.
Stir eggs and milk.
Pour over onions.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
