Slaw Eternal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 green bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 large carrot
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, pepper, onion and carrot. Pour 1 cup
    sugar and salt over vegetables, mixing well.
    Heat other ingredients. Cool and pour over the slaw mixture. Pack in a gallon jar and refrigerate.
