Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    whipped topping (optional)
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Remove 1 cup mixture and combine with cinnamon and nuts.
    Set aside.
    To remaining crumb mixture, add milk and baking powder.
    Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture over batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Cut into squares.
    Garnish with whipped cream or serve plain.
