Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. apple cider
    1 qt. ginger ale
    1/4 c. golden raisins
    1/4 c. toasted, slivered almonds
    3 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks
    4 whole cloves
Preparation
    In a 6-quart saucepan or wok, combine all ingredients.
    Heat over low heat or low setting at 200\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until hot. Do not boil.
    Add 1 thinly sliced navel orange and 1 cup apple brandy.
    Serve hot in glass punch cups.
