Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. cream *
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook first four ingredients over medium heat to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat, do not stir.
    Add vanilla and butter. Cool about an hour, add nuts and beat until it starts to lose its gloss.
    Spread onto buttered plate.
    Score while hot and cut when cool.
