Old Fashioned Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small can Pet milk
    4 tsp. lemon juice
    2/3 c. soft butter
    1 1/4 c. mashed, ripe bananas
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Grease and
    flour
    2 (8-inch) cake pans or a 13 x 9-inch pan. Sift
    flour,
    sugar,
    baking powder, baking soda and salt together in
    a
    large
    mixing
    bowl.
    Mix
    evaporated milk with lemon juice.
    Add
    alternately
    to dry ingredients with butter and bananas.
    Beat
    at
    medium
    speed for 2 minutes.
    Add eggs, beat 2 minutes.
    Stir
    in
    chopped pecans.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center with finger.
    Frost with cream cheese or your favorite icing.
