Candied Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. baby carrots
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
dash of ground nutmeg (optional)
Preparation

Cook
carrots in enough water to cover them until crisp and tender,
about 10 minutes.
Drain.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add carrots.
Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg.
Cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
