Italian Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
    1/3 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    5 potatoes, sliced
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook beef and onions until tender.
    Add spaghetti sauce, water, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Put 1/3 of meat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Layer 1/2 of potatoes on top.
    Repeat layering, ending with meat mixture.
    Cover pan tightly with foil.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove foil. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Let set 10 minutes for easier cutting.
