Scones(12 Scones) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/4 to 1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Work in shortening until crumb-like. Save 1 tablespoon egg white.
    Beat remaining eggs and add milk to make soft dough.
    Roll 1/2-inch thick; cut into 3-inch squares. Cut square into 2 triangles.
    Place on cookie sheet; brush with beaten egg white.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
