Slovak Christmas Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. mushrooms
1/2 lb. sauerkraut
2 Tbsp. chopped onions
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk
2 c. cooked diced potatoes
1/2 tsp. sweet paprika
3 c. water
2 peeled and cored, sliced apples (tart ones)
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. Burgundy wine
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 c. water
Preparation

Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
(Add water, if necessary, while heating.)
