Potato Parmesan Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine/butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    6 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion, water, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Do not drain. Make a white sauce with margarine, flour and milk.
    Add undrained vegetables.
    Heat; add cheese and bacon, stirring until cheese is melted.
    Makes 6 servings.
    This recipe doubles easily.
