Ginger Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
    4 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. candied ginger
    Waverly Wafers or other mild cracker
    sliced almonds, optional as frosting when ready to serve
Preparation
    Sliver or mince candied ginger.
    Cut cream cheese in chunks and set aside to soften.
    Mix 3 ingredients together and let stand in refrigerator 2 to 3 days to mingle flavors.
    Serve in ball, or flattened ball, frosted with sliced almonds if desired.
    Waverly Wafers or any slightly sweet, non-salty crackers to accompany. Good with white wine.
