Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. beef broth
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 green peppers
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 fresh tomatoes
Preparation
    Slice meat thin; grease skillet lightly.
    Brown meat.
    Push meat to one side.
    Add onions and cook until tender.
    Stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic.
    Cover; simmer 10 minutes.
    Add green peppers.
    Cover; simmer 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch with water. Stir gradually into meat mixture.
    Stir until thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute while stirring.
    Add tomatoes.
    Serve over rice.
