Russian Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 chicken thighs
1 large onion, cut into large pieces
garlic salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
pure maple syrup
Preparation

Heat oil in skillet; add chicken and garlic salt and pepper to taste.
Add onion.
Cook covered over low heat (juices from chicken and onion should supply enough moisture) for 30 to 40 minutes.
Juice will brown and cook away, allowing chicken to brown on bottom.
When pieces are turned over, water may be added to ensure that chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Pour maple syrup over chicken; simmer for 2 to 5 minutes.
Water may be added to skillet at any time as needed.
