Pork And Bean Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1 c. boiling water
3 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans, undrained and mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Place raisins in boiling water; set aside.
(Drain off water before adding raisins to batter.)
Blend eggs, oil and sugar together.
Add mashed pork and beans.
Add vanilla and dry ingredients.
Fold in raisins.
Add nuts if desired.
Grease and flour 2 standard loaf pans.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.
