Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked rice, cooked with one bay leaf
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. sour cream
    3 c. grated cheese
    1 c. cottage cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    parsley to taste
    1 1/3 c. chopped green chilies
Preparation
    Cook rice with 1 bay leaf.
    When done, remove bay leaf and set aside.
    Saute onion in the butter until clear; remove from heat. Fold in rice and sour cream.
    In a separate bowl, combine grated cheese, cottage cheese, salt, pepper and parsley.
    In baking dish, layer 1/2 rice mixture, 1/2 green chilies, then 1/2 cheese mixture.
    Repeat.
    Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes or until bubbly hot.
