Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 green pepper
    1 1/2 c. cut up luncheon meat
    1 c. water
    1 (1 lb.) can canned tomatoes
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop green pepper and onion; mix with the meat, water and tomatoes in a pan.
    Heat to boiling; lower heat and cook slowly 10 minutes.
    Stir in rice.
    Cover and cook slowly for 25 minutes, until rice is tender.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Makes six 3/4-cup servings.
