Spicy Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. peeled, cored, chopped, red, ripe tomatoes (about 24 large)
    1 1/2 c. chopped sweet green peppers (about 3 medium)
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 to 1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bring to boiling; simmer until thick as wanted, about 1 to 2 hours.
    Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
    Pour, boiling hot, into hot jars, leaving 1/8-inch headspace.
    Adjust caps.
    Process in hot water bath 15 minutes. Yields about 8 pints.
