Scalloped Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped green pepper (or red pepper)
white sauce
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped green onions
No. 2 can corn
bread crumbs
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cube butter; stir in 2 large tablespoons flour, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon (preferably).
Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups milk; stir over low heat to make the white sauce creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste after you take off the stove.
Saute the peppers and onions in a little butter or water until tender; cover.
Beat the egg and add drained onions, peppers, drained corn and add the white sauce.
Pour into casserole.
Sprinkle a few bread crumbs over top.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Serves 4 to 5.
