Fideo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, diced
    3 potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 box Fideo (vermicelli)
    2 small cans tomato sauce
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. comino
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    additional water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; drain excess fat and set aside. Heat oil and brown Fideo noodles until medium to dark brown; set aside.
    In a large pot, combine tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, spices and potatoes; mix well.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and add meat mixture and noodles.
    Simmer slowly about 1 hour.
    Add additional water if needed.
