Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

12 medium cucumbers
1 qt. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric
4 medium onions
2 tsp. celery seed

Preparation

Salt and soak cucumbers overnight.
Next morning mix remaining ingredients.
Let boil; put in cucumbers and onions. Bring to a boil again, then seal in sterilized jars.
