Cheese Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    2 c. crisp rice cereal
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
    Mix well. Shape into small balls with floured fingers.
    Place on baking sheets.
    Press lightly with fork to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
    Store in airtight container.
