Crab Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. backfin crab
    2 sticks butter
    1 large Vidalia onion
    4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 large lemon
    Tabasco
    cayenne
    3 Tbsp. garlic, chopped
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion until golden.
    Add garlic; saute 1/2 minute.
    Add (picked) crab.
    Cook until crab is heated through. Add cream cheese that has been whipped in electric mixer for 3 minutes.
    (Do not use pre-whipped cream cheese.)
    Saute, adding spices to taste.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Heat at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
