Ingredients

2 egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks
2/3 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cover cookie sheet with foil.
Beat egg whites, adding sugar, one tablespoon at a time after egg whites are at stiff peaks.
Add vanilla; fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop onto cookie sheet.
Place in oven.
TURN OVEN OFF!
Leave cookie sheet in oven overnight.
(Do not grease foil on cookie sheet.)
