Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. butter extract
1 tsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour, cocoa and buttermilk, alternating until all have been added.
Add soda.
Mix with vinegar, vanilla and butter extracts and red food coloring.
Pour into three eight-inch cake pans which have been greased and floured.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
