Mashed Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 potatoes
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sour cream (room temperature)
    1 to 3 green onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skin; peel and cool.
    Cut up.
    Over low heat, combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter until melted.
    Remove from heat. Blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Fold in potatoes. Put in 2-quart covered casserole.
    Top with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
