Mish Mosh(Polish Spanish Rice) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large pepper, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 lb. ground round beef
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1/2 tomato can water
1 (4 to 6 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms (optional)
3/4 c. Minute rice
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In a Dutch oven or any large pot, simmer pepper and onion until soft.
Add ground beef, salt and pepper and brown until all pinkness is gone.
Add tomatoes and water and simmer on low heat around 2 hours.
Add mushrooms after 1 hour.
Add Minute rice after 2 hours and simmer 1/2 hour longer.
Good one pot meal.
Can also be used for stuffed peppers.
