24 Hour Slaw(Olivia Sander'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, onion and bell pepper with sugar; set aside. Bring celery seed, salt, vinegar, dry mustard, Wesson oil and pepper to taste to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture and let stand 24 hours.
