Dad'S Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Kirby cucumbers
    1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
    2 heaping tsp. pickling spices
    1/4 head garlic, peeled and cut in half
    2 or 3 sprigs fresh dill
Preparation
    Put the cucumbers in tight in quart jar!
    Add all ingredients. Fill quart jar with water and cover with cap.
    Let stand 5 to 6 days at room temperature, then add 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar to keep crisp and refrigerate.
