Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter or margarine
    1 lb. sausage
    1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread; spread bread with butter.
    Place in greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish and set aside.
    Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble; drain well.
    Spread over bread; sprinkle cheese over top.
