Apple Pandowdy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. raw, diced apples
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar.
    Add well-beaten egg. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
    Fold in apples and nuts. Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
