Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 c. buttermilk
1 well beaten egg
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion

Preparation

Mix and cook in deep fat until golden brown.
Can be dipped with spoon or poured from plastic bag.
Makes about 24.
