Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fettuccine
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/3 c. whipping cream (at room temperature)
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, cut up (at room temperature)
    fresh coarsely cracked black pepper
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
    Immediately drain.
    Return pasta to the hot kettle or Dutch oven.
    Add Parmesan cheese, light cream or whipping cream and margarine or butter.
    Toss gently until pasta is well coated.
    Transfer to a warm serving dish.
    Sprinkle with pepper.
    Serve immediately. Makes 4 main dish servings.
