Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 pt. heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Beat yolks until frothy. Add 2 tablespoons sugar and beat.
    In a separate bowl, beat cream with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until thick. Stir into beaten yolks. Cream mixture.
    Chill 2 to 3 hours. Stir gently before serving.
    Sprinkle nutmeg.
