Banana Bread - cooking recipe

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 ripe medium bananas, mashed (1 c.)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. buttermilk, plus 1 Tbsp.
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped walnuts (nuts are optional)
Preparation

In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, combine eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla; add to flour mixture, stirring until combined. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until bread tests done.
