Shredded Beef Chimichangas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 envelope brown gravy mix
    1 c. cold water
    2 c. shredded, cooked roast beef
    1 can (chopped) green chilies
    1 tsp. pepper
    8 flour tortillas
    additional oil (for frying)
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    sour cream
    salsa or hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    In a skillet, saute onion in oil until tender.
    Reduce heat to medium.
    Sprinkle gravy mix over onion.
    Stir in water until blended.
    Add the beef, chilies and pepper.
    Cook until gravy thickens and mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. Spoon about 1/4 cup off-center onto each tortilla.
    Fold up edge nearest filling; fold in both sides and roll up.
    Secure with toothpicks.
