Wilted Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large bunches of leaf lettuce (shredded fine)
    1 bunch chopped green onions
    8 chopped radishes
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 pound bacon (cooked crisp)
Preparation
    Combine first
    three ingredients in a large bowl.
    In a skillet fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and crumble. Remove all
    bacon drippings from skillet except 4 or 5 Tbsp.
    Add sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and bring to a boil. You may want to add a Tbsp. water. Pour over lettuce mixture and toss.
