Layered Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce, shredded by hand
    1 c. celery
    1 c. green pepper
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1/2 c. chopped salad onion
    Bac*O's to taste
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. grated yellow cheese
Preparation
    Place 1/2 lettuce in 9 x 12-inch dish.
    Cover with half of onion, celery, green pepper and frozen peas.
    Repeat layers. Spread mayonnaise, mixed with sugar, over lettuce.
    Top with cheese.
    Place in refrigerator overnight.
    Delicious.
