Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
4 c. pecans, chopped
2 oz. bottle pure lemon extract
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together (save 1/2 cup for dusting).
Add flour gradually. Add lemon extract, fruits and nuts by hand.
Grease and flour 4 loaf pans. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Test after 40 minutes. Can be frozen and better if made 2 or 3 days in advance.
