Butter Cookies(Approximately 4 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
yellow cake color (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla flavor

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla well.
Mix flour.
Add about three drops yellow color.
Drop 1/2 teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool.
