Wild Duck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 duck
    salt and pepper to taste
    small onion, minced
    1 c. cooking wine
    cornstarch
Preparation
    Place prepared duck in roaster with about 1-inch of water in pan.
    Salt and pepper duck; add one small onion.
    Cook, uncovered, for 2 1/2 hours at 375\u00b0, basting often.
    Drain off fat and add enough cornstarch to drippings to make gravy to the consistency to which you like it.
