Congenial Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 small (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 small box jello (cherry or strawberry)
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Cool Whip

Preparation

Cream together jello and cream cheese.
Pour 1 cup hot water over mixture; let stand until thickened.
Add crushed, drained pineapple, cherries and chopped walnuts.
Spread Cool Whip on top. Decorate with cherries.
