Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    6 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
    Add buttermilk and vanilla.
    Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
