Sausage-Stuffed Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium yams or sweet potatoes
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
4 oz. Smok-Y-Links sausages, chopped
Preparation

Cook in covered crock-pot on low setting, 4 to 6 hours.
Cut tops from yams.
Scoop out centers carefully and mash.
Add butter, milk, salt and oregano.
Beat until smooth.
Add sausage. Mix well.
Fill yam shells.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
