Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Ground Chuck
    1 Cup Rice, Cooked (makes 3 cups cooked)
    1/2 Onion
    1 Egg Beaten
    8 Green Peppers
    1 Large Can tomato Sauce
    2 Tbsp. Butter
    2 Tbsp. Flour
    1 Tbsp. Sugar
Preparation
    Brown the ground chuck with 1/2 medium onion chopped fine. Drain excess fat from meat.
    Mix in the beaten eggs, 2 cups cooked rice, and add seasonings
    (sprinkle) such as salt, pepper, parsley, basil, garlic powder, and oregano to taste.
    Wash peppers and cut tops off and remove core.
    Stuff with rice and beef mixture and bake 1-1/2 hours in 350 oven.
    In separate saucepan melt butter, add flour, let brown and thicken.
    Add sugar and tomato sauce and the tomato sauce can of water.
    Cook together, and pour over peppers and serve.
