Beef-Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 large cans stewed tomatoes
    2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) beef broth (undiluted)
    1 large can mixed vegetables, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. medium egg noodles (uncooked)
    1 tsp. dried oregano (optional)
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, brown beef and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, beef broth, mixed veggies, salt, black pepper, sugar, celery seed and oregano, if using. Let mixture come to a boil; add noodles. Reduce heat and cover. Let cook on medium-low for 15 minutes, until egg noodles are tender.
